SPIRITUAL GROWTH IS NOT OPTIONAL / why should you come to this conference?

Like newborn infants, desire the pure milk of the word, so that you may grow up into your salvation, if you have tasted that the Lord is good. 1 Peter 2:2-3

The Word of God is clear in that continuous spiritual growth is to be the aim of every Christian. God intends for us to become conformed to the image of his Son.  Therefore, spiritual growth is not optional nor trivial in the life of a Christian.

And what fuels this spiritual growth? It is “the pure milk of the word.” As we “press into” the gospel, the Word of God and the Spirit of God grow us.  Grace converts us but it also changes us, initially, gradually, continually, and fruitfully.

Please join us for the Spiritual Growth Conference at West Haven Baptist Church, in Tonganoxie, KS.  We will be saturated in the Word of God and drawn by Christ’s love to honor Him more and more in Christian maturity.

Yes! For the 2019 conference, we are offering a group discount for those placing an order of 10 or more tickets.
Yes! Lunch is being catered by Chick-Fil-a, and is provided to you at no extra cost!
Yes! For the 2019 Spiritual Growth Conference, Tonganoxie Christian Church has graciously offered to provide childcare services. Pricing for childcare is as follow:
  • First Child - $20
  • Second Child - $15
  • Each Additional Child - $10
In addition, parents/guardians will need to complete this form in its entirety. At the earliest opportunity, please email info@spiritualgrowthconference.com to sign-up for childcare.
No.  While one of our guest speakers will be speaking at West Haven on Sunday morning, Sunday is not part of the Spiritual Growth Conference.  If you do not have a church home, we would love for you to join us each Sunday at 10:30am. Otherwise, we encourage all conference attendees to join their own local congregations for gathered worship each Sunday.
Yes! Parking is plentiful, and we will have parking attendants to help direct traffic.
Our event coordinator is Jen Belcher.  There are a number of ways to contact her:
The conference begins on Friday, November 1st, and ends on Saturday, November 2nd. On Friday, doors open at 5:00pm, with the conference beginning at 6:00pm. It will conclude around 9:00pm on Friday. On Saturday, doors open at 8:00am, with the conference beginning at 9:00am. The conference concludes around 3:00pm on Saturday.
